Lately...

Lately...theres been lots of busy work from school times, feist ticket buying, a couple shopping sprees (which apparently i only like red a cream now), and a lil' Chinese New Years going on! I gotta make a real post soon. When i say real, i mean about food/crafting and not my shopping sprees. (even though my shopping sprees are quite beautiful)

Fluffy times

Pumped out my first batch of Martha Stewart marshmallows! I hope they taste as lovely as they look! I am going to throw them together with s'more supplies this weekend at my friends mountain get-a-way home and I'll get y'all know how they came out.

This coming weekend

Is going to be a solid one. I cant wait to finally have a reason to use the new Canon Rebzzzz.

This photo reminds me, I am now obsessed with waking up between 7 and 8 am no matter what. Its beautiful right? I get so much done and I literally did add the hours to my day that I've been missing since high school when I had to wake up at 630. 

Along with a house hunt, I am on a car hunt. One would think this would be a fun and exciting thing to do, which it is BUT I am pretty sure the stress overrides the fun-ness wah wah.

Meet my very first sewing project! An apron was the perfect choice for my little niecey-pie-cuzzy-bunch to go with the play kitchen my mom got her for Christmas. Nothing about this project was formal, I banged out my own pattern after sifting through some beginner patterns throughout the interweb. It will definitely do the trick for a 1 year old! (even though she cried when we strapped it on her) 

Any-who, I am very interested in taking on new endeavors with my beastly sewing machine now that I got this one done :) 

Here's to hoping school/work/life calms down so I can beautify everything around me! aka curtains, rugs, pillows, blankets, clothes oh my

Another few resolutions I have are to make this blog more interesting/frequently updated when I'm back at home, stay in shape (like the rest of the planet), and use all of my kitchen appliances at least once weekly.

As of now I'm in West Virginia visiting with my cousins, enjoying my last few free days!
